Georges Dons was the first one to obtain a BOSEC certificate for designers in 1995 for all types of buildings. Recently, in 2005, he was also the first one to be granted a BOSEC TCC5- Type 1* certificate as «Company specialized in the coordination and realization of smoke & heat extraction ventilation systems».
This offers the guarantee to customer, architect, SHEVS system installer, contractor and fire brigade of a professional implementation, meeting the applicable standards.

Georges Dons has been involved for many years as an expert with all European and Belgian standardization commissions on Smoke and Heat Extraction. He is also a sought-after lecturer and teacher in his area of expertise, both in Belgium and abroad.
The aim is providing a fire safe, high-performance concept (solution), taking into account the complex regulations during the design and implementation of the project, in consultation with fire services, insurers, architects, engineers, real estate developers and authorities, at an acceptable level, be it from a technical or from an economic point of view.
